I'm new at film-cleaning, but I want to make an effort at doing a good job at it. I tried to clean a film with Edwal once, having read stuff online about how using "too much" will leave residue - and sure enough, there was residue on my film. I'm just not too good at not using "too much" of anything. I could try to use "not as much as last time" but I'm not sure if that won't still leave some residue.
I read the claim that Solvon is "zero residue". I'm interested in type 2, like I was in Edwal, because of reading about how film shoud be lubricated. Is it really foolproof so that I don't have to worry about using "too much" and leaving residue? If I use "not as much as I used of Edwal last time", can I be sure the film will be residue-free?
