This is a full size machine as distinguished from the slim line series. The self threading version is the NT-0. Various options include a extra speaker in the cover and an SL-0L version which has the EWG 24v 300W lamp. Users generally love this machine as well as the self threader. It is a beautifully designed and well built machine. Parts and service people are generally available. The Eiki version became most popularly known as the SL II - Series.

After Eiki bought out Bell & Howell this machine was also fitted out with B&H trim/ labelling and sold as the B&H Filmosound 3580 with the same variations as the Eiki. The Eiki SL-0L and the B&H 3575 use a 300 watt/120v EWG lamp, which has lamp brightness of 675 lumens. An ELC puts out 850 lumens.
